Our Re-opening Plan

We look forward to welcoming our students back to campus soon!

The Rwandan government is reopening schools in a phased approach. The Ministry of Education is currently completing thorough inspections of campuses and COVID-19 policies.

Officials visited our campus on October 5th and were impressed with our level of preparedness — from physical distancing measures to new hand-washing stations. We are incorporating their input from the inspection and awaiting their decision for our reopening date. Students will complete face-to-face practicals for Trimester 3 before we commence Trimester 1 of the new school year. President Paul Swaga will soon share details about the new academic calendar. Our unique blended learning modality continues to combine online and campus modules for personalized learning.

Our top priority is the health & safety of our community. All students and staff will complete training on campus operations during the pandemic. Our Dean of Students is assisting students who reside outside of Kigali to relocate to resume studies on campus. After 7 months of learning & working virtually, we are excited to bring our community together again.

We are so inspired by our students’ resilience and dedication to their studies throughout this challenging year. Thank you!
